Alpha it is a canvas weather cover to protect mg when not in use, its a resin kit by attak for originally the hobbyboss 1.16 tiger 1, comes with the main muzzlebrake cover as well from forgebear.

Nice job on this Tiger. A quick way to get the steel look of steel tracks is to buy a jar of steel hobby enamel then put the tank up so the tracks are not touching the ground start the tank up and hold a brush loaded with the steel color to the track as you run it slowly. You can paint the inside and outside of the tracks this way. It's easier than taking the tracks off to paint them and quicker then trying to wear off the black color by running the tank for hours.

It's a kit? that's pretty cool.... back in the day though... I used toilet paper to make canvas coverings ...it was kind of like using the method of covering wings on RC aircraft back in the day... where you had a covering similar to tissue paper which was doped...and stretched with a dryer (no blow dryers back then...used standing heaters )....Nice touch in any case... not something seen all the time

To fit the muzzle brake cover you have to cut off the muzzle brake and the new solid resin casting has a ferrule which fits inside the barrel to locate it, this means however you have lost the bb firing. The mg resin casting you have to remove all around the mg and mg cupola to fit flush with front plate, but i thought it was unusual and not often used on models. But would be essential in winter field conditions in real time use.

Boy Tiger not sure I like the sound of that...with the toilet paper method....if you dampen the toilet paper or paper towel...then tie it on the muzzle ...it will not only take it's form but sag realistically ....when it dries it holds it's form to a certain degree....and you put paint on it...it will soften a little....and you could have shot a bb through it... leaving the main gun fully operational.. the tear would look cool too..and would stiffen once the paint dries...same with the machine gun... only difference is instead of shooting something through it.... you twist a piece off where the bullets would exit...giving it that blown out effect...of course my suggestion is after the work has been already done...but if you do another..try it... you might like it....
