Those look like the same road wheels I have so I'm SURE I can work with the ones I have, Thank you PainlessWolf!

Alpha I thought that was just bracing but its a tensioner thats perfect! Looks like I'm ordering the Taigen lower and 4.1 transmissions.
God I hope this makes my Tiger run decent!

jackalope, my Tiger with the Mato metal hull went from a shelf queen to one of my better battler with the Taigen lower so you won't be disappointed. I don't know about the wheels though as I didn't bother, basically gave away my Mato metal lower with the wheels as it never ran right and I didn't want to take any chances. The Taigen comes with all the fixings, idler track tensioner, front brace, plastic mounting plate for all your guts (speakers, smoker, battery) plus the power switch mount under the MG gunner's hatch so you might want to consider opening that if not already. It also comes with the back plate.
I can't begin to tell you the difference as it was night and day and with the Taigen chassis you can really see why the German's went with the interleave/torsion bar road wheels as it runs so smooth.

Jack I wrote about MATO versus TAIGEN quality, while looking through FORGEBEAR's site I saw a MATO escape hatch for a Tiger 1 for sale at £1.50, it is a one piece metal hatch that will cover the hole, on the same site is TAIGENs escape hatch for a Tiger 1 at £1.69, this is a two piece with a working hinge allowing the builder to get full use of the hatch and just 19 pence more. That is the kind of difference I am talking about. shaun

Thanks everyone for the help and I took your advice and ordered the Taigen lower hull and 4.1 transmissions. I figure between them and the metal road wheels and idler wheels I already have and the metal tracks my Tiger came with my Tiger should FINALLY be able to drive through my yard without throwing its tracks! At least I sure as hell hope so!
Stay tuned for my build thread for pics when they arrive. Oh and I found a few places in the states that sell tank parts! Again thank you all for helping me find them as well.

I have a mato metal hull and road wheels, I am beginning to see what you mean, the wheels are all wobbly and don't spin freely, some do some rub against each other. I think the taigen hull is the way to go.
