As far as i know hl have no plans for an M60 ...but a T72 is on the drawing board as wee speek ...that is at least two years away ,...there are other shermans on the way ...

I like your build ...but my workshop is not as well kitted out as yours ...min is not much more than some very sharp knives ....rulers ,..and plastic cards ...

I will watch your build ,....and see if we come across the same problems ...

And thank you for offering information....i also have a good collection of information about avf's ...the r p hunnicutt book is one among many that i have
And ..i also have unrestricted access to the tank museum library ..

I have followed your builds in the past and I'm sure that you will do an amazing job on this one! I think the rear hull with the engine cover and turret will be the challenging parts, I have no idea why the designers did not go with a more simpler engine cover design (like the Leopard 1 for example)... the one on the M60 has all sorts of sloped surfaces. As for the turret, I think starting out with a frame built from plasticard and shaping with putty will be the easiest way.

The M60 series are gorgeous tanks, we will have a lot of fun building these beasts!

Yes the rear deck is a sod to build .....but i done it before ...lol...

Excellent Mcevoyi....Isn't that one of the tanks I suggested on your "suggestions for future builds " thread? ...She's a tough one... the Turret looks like the hard part to me lol

there s no doubt you are a talented person and like all your efforts top notch ...wot wot .....patience they say is a virtue to scratch build,, this is a must ...........more shermans ?
