Hi Kev,
I've got a Robbe Power Peak Infinity II, which is now replaced by the even more expensive Infinity III version.
At work we recently got a "Bantam BC6" which does a similar job. This is ~£100 and has an inbuilt mains PSU, otherwise most need a beefy 12V power supply or a 12v car battery. The ones without an inbuilt PSU are generally ~£50.
Go to your local RC modelling shop, whether cars or planes and peruse what they have.
