Already have the sound file for panzerlied programed onto the Tiger. I might put Katyuska on the panzer III. Unless I can find a really cheap basic T34.

Still in its gloss phase as still adding some tones. Need to get the tow cables back on also. Good runner on metal chasis, metal wheels and tracks. Elmod motion and sound cards and big speaker. cannot get the recoil working though.

Next, re do the Tiger 1. I had already started a repaint in grey but will change again.

Nice Job John.... You made it Dirty :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: ....looks fine on yours though... good job on the decaling as well...the smoker bomb launchers are a nice touch

You should just mod a stock German figure... as putting Katy in it would steal away from it...perhaps putting it in the wrong light with fans of the Anime...which would be a tragedy since you did such a nice job there were moments where they showed what the commander of the Panzer III's commander looked like... it's towards the end.....when OARAI crosses the bridge...and the Porsche Tiger destroys it.... she radios the info ...then heads to the town to lure the Oarai schools tanks to face the Maus ;)

the following is a music video...but might help with the uniform for your figure

Apologies John... I had mistakenly thought you were going to put Katyushia in your Panzer III as a commander :haha: :{ :haha: ...read it again and realized you were referring to the song 8O ................... :haha:

Anyway... the song that I put for your use in uniform research... would play well in the PanzerIII ... the audio on that video unfortunately isn't that great....so here's a little clearer rendition

:haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: World of Tanks has it's benefits eh Lert ;) ...but yes you are correct... I'm not sure who made the poster of the tanks...but most definitely it was the Elephant that KUROMORIMINE used

A rather productive weekend... fabricated a new smoke channel... simplified to one hose... used the board to cover the refill hole ... the part on the bulkhead was made from a TiPanther's cleaning kit ...works perfect ....photos
Image

Also did a bit of tidy on the electricals... putting the battery terminal back where it belonged
Image

Guide rollers installed... these were a PiB as well... seems Taigen doesn't feel they should provide you with what Heng Long does in the way of appropriate fit... both the screws in the Taigen Kit and Heng Long were too big...the Heads had to be machined down .. and a little filing done to the axle holes to clean them up

Image

Relocated the antenna...plugged the hole with sprue... sanded and done...less than five minutes :D

Image

New location

Image

Antenna in stored position... also new metal cupola ....it was the easiest to change out... just twist and turn

Image

Antenna raised... entire package as she stands ...a few more details .. she should be a go for paint
