Tigers in Combat 1 & 2 are also very good sources for that kind of information. It has the schemes and unit numbering pattern for each ABT through time, as they changed. It includes where and how things like whitewash were applied and what happened when new tanks arrived in the unit and how they were repainted or how old ones were repainted to match them. Both books cover every single Tiger unit, book 1 is Army units and 2 is SS units.
