And that Stevie is the difference between 1/16 scale Tanks and large scale Aircraft, lots of people new to model tanks ask what the bucket is for, every one who flies model aircraft know's exactly what a bucket is for! shaun

That's a beauty alright!
I was involved in the hobby for a while. I had a dehavilland beaver for a trainer and a stuka also that got stolen by someone before I could even build. The beaver got destroyed on the maiden flight because I added too much weight in order to make it pretty but just made it too heavy. I got frustrated after that money pit and quit.

I like the rc tanks better;, they stay on the ground and you don't need to drive an hour to a field...Although there's an awesome 1/72 scale u boat conversion kit for the Revell model that makes it functional submarine and I've thought about making one of those one day. You have to buy the model itself, which i think is still available, then a kit from someone called Caswell plating.

Been playing

Image

I’ve put a HobbyKing 3AXIS stabilizer and receiver in as this is a scale warbird made out of foam which will get buffeted by the wind and with this unit in it should stand a chance of flying smooth to scale. I'm a Heli flyer, so this will be the first time out with a war bird.

Started doing a few mods, cut out the foam behind the amour plate and replaced it with plasticard. Painted it German Grey to match the rest of the cockpit.

Bought a pilot for about £3, not very well painted so I set to work painting him, Very odd pose!

Quick paint job, added control stick and yellow life jacket.

If your needing any decals i.e. correct size Swastika, or any other decal..just give me a shout,..i,ve got a mate who owns a graphics company and he can do anything ..from aircraft decals to the more obscure tank insignia
