Hi Guy I bought a Spektrum reciever from the States it was a good price and it said free postage when it arrived had to paypostage the a import duty together I ended up saving 50pence  compared to one bought from U.K. and had to wait over 3 weeks .Have bought stuff from Darkith and had it here in 4 days with no customs or problems I think its the luck of the draw some times they get through other times you will get landed with a bill ,all I can say is you have to take into account the duty payable when buying and if you dont have to pay its a bonus .As for the state of the pound at the moment wont be ordering from overseas till it gets better that includes the E.U.
