Its weathering but worn out a but by running it round the patio.

Thanks. It's the tank I built that I'm most pleased with. When it comes to Tigers, you cannot go wrong with a Tamiya.

Excellent work on the Tiger Billpe! I love the paint chipping, camo job & the mud & dirt effects. I have never seen this paint scheme either which makes it nice to have a Tiger that no one else has. I will be using your model as a example for me to follow on my Tiger I build. Well executed & clean construction. :thumbup:

Thanks. It's in a sorry state right now unfortunately after running into a wall and having the barrel chipped.

The scheme was pretty standard to 502 abt around 1943. They used a mixture of early and mid Tigers as time went on, the older early Tigers had this sort of look with variation in lines, all spray painted by the crew so and soft edge while the newer ones were mostly just yellow. There was at least one Tiger in 502 in 1943 that had a crew applied hard edge scheme which was really very intricate - it was at least at that point carrying the tactical numbers 323. There is a good view of it in a book called Modeling the Tiger by Dave Parker.
