Looks very nice and something I'm very interested in for my own panzer IV.
On the Heng Long plastic hull the sprockets sit too low,has this been corrected for the asiatam metal hull do you know?
Looking forward to seeing this come together.

Steve.

Ahh... that is not pleasing to read.

So far the nut that secures the axles for rear idlers collide with part of the hull, so that is a dremel job. I'll look into this quality issue and see what happens. I'm not going to touch the hull in the mean time. If it looks to be too bad, I'll send it back.

Wight: I wasn't aware of any issues to be honest. I would imagine that such details would be addressed.

Painless: I wasn't impressed by the lack of instructions as well to be honest. I'll keep an eye open for some, but I'm not expecting much.

Dietrich. I'll use araldite to stick the loose bits on. It's not a brilliant way of doing it, but there we go. Maybe it is all part of the quality issues that have been flagged up.

What I will do, is see how well the upper fits before I do anything. If it does, then I'll see about returning it.

EDIT:

I have been in contact with Welshdragon and it seems that that issue is missing parts, which is what I am faced with. Stephen is helping me out here so I shall keep you all updated. :)

Not much to report at the moment. Until I get the missing bits from Asiatam, I am not going to start this project.

However I took delivery of a set of Taigen running wheels from Welsh Dragon. They're quite weighty! I have placed all of the parts into the hull, so all wheels, tracks, FR8 speaker, electronics and battery, with the top half on top. The total weight without painting came just over 3.5 kilos or 8 pounds! Quite heavy I thought for a little beast. A lightweight to my 18 pound King Tiger though!

That is all for the moment really. Until I get the missing parts this project is on hold. In the mean time I still need to get said KT working :S
