Absolutely love it Fred, fully functional superb.Back in the day a broken track would be a minor problem to that of actually getting on the beach alive.

Hey Fred.. I'd say that's a success .... it didn't sink.... like many of the real ones did...looks pretty realistic with the track trailing out like that... but hey nothing a little krazy glue can't fix right....sounds also like a little more grease on your prop shafts ... and perhaps some saturated leather bushings to help seal out the water from the hull...
I was wondering how your work was progressing... it'll be great to see a video... I think you are doing a fantastic job

Thank you for comments and sorry, but this tank will stay at home...
Next time I will build an assembly line for dd sherman for you cannedheat.

Hey Fred... you just got the ultimate compliment...when you get a "wanting" from Sir Canned ... it means you have done an outstanding job

Reason I was surprised you didn't get that message earlier

for shermanologists... it's the equivalent of the medal of honor

This is for Pete (971wright) and the others members interesting by this project.

Pics of my Sherman DD after repair of my transmission.
My final gearwheel in nylon of my left transmission has broken due to sand. I think I need to buy new transmission, but I have looked my old metal transmissions and I was surprised, 2 of them are the same than the Matorro sherman transmissions.
I have done the modifications and transmissions works very good.
The video to show the functioning of expanding and closing the sidewall canvas.
