Hi Canned,

No I have not done too much with the paintwork which you did as I thought it looked great.

I have repainted the top deck of the upper hull due to all the extras I have put on, engine grills, replaced the moulded on tools etc.... She has had a couple of dark filters to tone in the paintwork and a set of peddinghaus Decals. :) Various detail bits added and the wheels and tracks are new metal ones.

As to the insides, your wish is my command 8)

As you can see I have made a few internal changes. :)

The Exhausts are now plumbed through the exhaust stacks.

It has an uprated volume control, which if all goes well I will be exchanging at some point soon for an RC Tanks Australia "viper" board which will enable me to control the volume from a pot on my Tx. I have two of these in the post to me at the moment.

IBU2 main board fitted and gun flash changed to LED (I think I prefer the LED flash to the Hi Intensity one now). Main switch changed to a toggle switch (I just prefer these over slide switches) and no need for a smoker switch anymore due to the IBU2.

4-1 taigen black steel gearboxes. Brace added to the front of the hull for extra rigidity.

I think that covers the changes :)

Quick update.

The Viper remote volume control units which I ordered from RC Tank Australia arrived today  :D

These allow the sound volume to be controlled from the Tx via a rotary pot. The viper just plugs into the volume control socket on the board and a spare channel on the Rx. Set up a rotary pot on the Rx channel and away you go. Works a treat on my Turnigy 9x setup. :D

Here is a pic of this Late Tiger I showing the revised internal layout. No more volume pot in the hull, and the Viper is the small board near the large blue capacitor at the top of the picture.

That is a very nice installation Scalawag,

Can you tell me a bit more about the smoker unit?

Best Regards

Keith.
