Hi lister. I am sure you will be fine with the airbrush. Try out on some scrap first, and take your time. Have you picked a colour scheme for yours?

I'm glad you like this build.

I like things to be neat and tidy in a tank, and I like to be able to turn my tanks on and off without having to turn them over, hence the repositioning of the main switch to the rear plate. I have re-plumbed the smoker so that the smoke comes from the actual exhaust pipes rather than from the two exhaust holes at the top of the rear plate, which left the original exhaust hole as the perfect place to put the main switch.

The IBU2 also does away with the need for a smoker switch as this is now switched on and off via the Tx. I am also waiting on two of these from RC Tank Australia to try out:

This should make it possible for the sound volume to be controlled from the Tx too, so that once the tank is turned on all other controls are via the Tx.

Yes mate, I got the base coat on last week
I'm going to try & copy a panzer iv scheme I saw on eBay.
Sorry, I've no idea what unit it's from.
If I had to guess I'd say from Normandy.

Yes it's 3 colour.
I know panzer 3's wern't in Normandy but I just like the pattern.
It's a mongrel tank anyway with an h top on an l chassis.

Sure they were in Normandy Mr Lister................a few years earlier is all.
There is the option of the PzIII 'Flamm" or munitionschleper etc etc.
Mr Scalawag had the same nevous twitch I had that Im sure was cured by a stiff shot of some sort prior to the airbrush action.
I think that most first timers on an airbrush will be extra cautious for a few then let it all hang out after many. Or, is that what happens after the 'shots' to steady the hand

Great job Scalawag, well done on the paint and electronics. That little hull is packed but it is so neat and tidy inside...

Thanks for the comments. Yes the inside is quite full, it took a while to work out the best layout to fit it all in.
