Sorry Kye....... trying to type the message on my Blackberry Playbook. I can't use touch keyboard to save my life if needed.
Speaker clicking is a good sign. Too bad you don't have a spare board/receiver to test it out. See what Curtis says, but I would imagine he might want to see the radio screens. Do you have the backlit on your 9X ? If you can send the picture for the Mixer screen I might be able to take a peek. On the main menu on the 9X, just hold the right arrow down and you will get to the menu screen, keep pressing right will get you to the mixer screen. It is screen 4/9, and there are two pages (Once you are there you can scroll down).
It is strange that nothing is responding. The only other thing I can think of is that you are on the wrong template somehow on the 9X. What does you start up screen say when you first power the radio up ? Anyway, we are getting into the radio setting which can be very tricky, especially the 9X since they don't actually have a save reminder feature. You change the value and it is saved automatically so you don't even know if you change some setting.

Uploading the photos now.
A wrong template could be possible. You know what it's like. Something doesn't work, buttons get pressed etc etc. I've only gone between the Model and template menu's. The rest look scary.

That is the album to all of the photos. I figure one of every screen would be better.
Thank you for all this, I really appreciate it.

Kye,
Can you also post the second page on the Template menu (10/10) ? Scroll down just like the Mixer menu. Also, how come you have 5 profiles and only one tank ? Did Curtis shipped it with 5 profiles ?

The template menu only has those 7 options. There is 08 but it say it is a servo test.
I can still upload a photo later today if you wish though.
There were 4 profiles, but I duplicated number 4.
Thanks

Sorry, I meant the Template menu. I don't know what option it is but it says 10/10 on the top right hand corner and is the second picture you posted. I just want to see the bottom half of that.
Also, if you are at the initial menu, can you hold down the left arrow key and it should bring you to the Radio menu. Again just the first page, top and bottom.

I've added a few more photos to the album. They should be in age order now too to make them easier to look through

Kye,
I am not too sure if this is the problem, but when I look at my radio, the Channel Order on the Template menu should match the Mixer order. So for example, my channel order on the template menu is RETA and on my mixer menu, my Ch1 is Rud, Ch2 is Ele etc. I noticed that for some reason yours doesn't match. I would try to change the Template menu channel order to match your Mixer order.
When you do this though make sure your tank is off the ground as it might start doing crazy stuff when you turn on the radio. Again, try this at your own risk and it might make things worse, although it can't really be any worse at this point since nothing is happening.

Hiya.
I'm a bit lost. I can't change anything on my templates. I have the following:
01 Tamiya RTEA
02 RCtoHL RTEA
03 SGSTRF10 RTEA
04 ElMod Eco TREA
etc
Is that right location to be in??
Edit:
Hang on. If I change profiles, the mixer settings change as well.
Profile 'Tank 02' gives me:
CH1 100% Rud
CH2 100% ELE
CH3 100% THR
CH4 100% AIL
Looking at the templates at the top of this post, the closest I can get to the RTEA is by using the '03 Tank 01' profil:
CH1 100% RUD
CH2 100% THR
CH3 100% ELE
+-100% Half TRN
+- 100% Half THR
+- 100% Half ID0
CH4 100% AIL

Kye
did you choose another template? I hope not because you wipe everything out when you do. I tested this before I shipped it and everything was good.
Back to the basics because I don't understand why you are having an issue.
1. all batteries charged and ready to go
2. there is a jumper on the SW port of the TK22
3. The radio is bound to the reciever ( reciever is solid red light when it is bound )The reciever and the channel the radio controls are the same correct? with a 16 model memory if your reciever is on channel 1 and your radio is on channel 2 nothing will work.
ALL of the trims are in the middle correct? Clark board is half stick movement and you can activate or deactivate an action just by pushing the trims up and down or left and right.
The Cables plugged into the reciever are facing down correct? By saying that the cables that plug into the reciever have 2 sides, one solid plastic and the other you can see the metal connector.
The metal connector has to be facing towards the bottom of the reciever ( hold the reciever in your hand so you can read the printing on it, Channel 8 is at the top and channel one is at the bottom )
IF all of that is done then the left stick should activate the turret left or right, If not move the trim left or right 1/4 of the movement until you get sounds and action
Contact me via mail please maybe we can skype a phone call and I can talk you through this I have video so we can see what we are doing, much better than a million posts here.

Hi, Curtis.
I have no idea how to choose another template in all honesty. I can see 7 options but wouldn't know how to get into them. As far as I know, I've not gone into any of them. My name appears in the corner under tank image still. I presume that is a good sign?
1.) Check. They're all fine.
2.) There is.
3.) The two are bound, but I don't understand the next part "The reciever and the channel the radio controls are the same correct? with a 16 model memory if your reciever is on channel 1 and your radio is on channel 2 nothing will work.". How would I check this? Does this relate to the 4 tank profiles I have? Menu 1 out of 10.
Looking at the screen display, all trims look centred.
The cables plugged into the receiver are now plugged in correctly. All 4 were the wrong way round. They are wired as mention before: CH1 to CH4, CH2 to CH3, CH3 to CH2. CH4 to CH1.
Still nothing though.
I'll contact you next week about a skype call. I'm away this weekend.
