mine was jam packed with wires ... barely enough room to get my hand in to unplug stuff...the crazy thing was that smoker... it was just double side taped to the upper hull...I would think the IR version would have even more wires 
I like how mine drives though... I would say the T34 and the SHERMAN are the smoothest that came straight out of the box
