About 6 years ago I bought a 1/30th Sherman at a show, no plans for it at the time, (the addiction kicked in) also it was very cheap £10.
o- So that's going to be my contribution and challenge, I haven't built anything for the past 5 -1/2 years. (2 big health issues).
Now its lateral thinking time and building for 2014. :/

Not really Panther... not this time anyway...just going to remodel a SHERMAN to make it look more like the one in GIRLS UND PANZER
Image

My first one wasn't altered at all.... but I'm not touching that one.. just because it runs so well...So in a way this second one will hopefully fill the void... of the American team and fit into the schedule for this build

glad to see you are going to join in... I think it's going to be a blast :D

Have fun

I know we have elected to model the 70th anniversary of D-Day.
But we have WW1 modellers on the forum.
Perhaps they may want to do something similar for this year 2014.
The 100th Anniversary of the start of WW1. particularly as it was in this war the Tank was born.

Made a start on my Firefly so hopefully I'll have it finished in time.

Never had a deadline for a build before which is why they can sometimes take years to do.

Rocketmans just clued me into this and it sounds fab.

Gives me a reason to get my 1/16 LCM 3 finished... well at the very least the exterior modelling bits, the RC gear can come later :) I also have most of what I needed for a Firefly build which should be done before June. And I can hold off selling my Stug3 until after the photos are done.

Anyone know of some good, deserted sand dunes around the southeast?
