Lol I had thought of that Tom but I have been told by her who I'm not upsetting till after chrimbo that I'm can't have any more till February lol and I think yours would of gone by then !!, but that would make 3 KTs ;) .so tempted but can't just after I have bought the KV 2 and the other 2 lol.but when they all get here will try and get some pics of them all :D .

Forgot to say thanks DK just looking trough your post and it looks amazing lots of great work to look at but a bit practice before I do it on mine me thinks

I used to use spackle (as its called in the US) Which is putty for covering small holes in the wall. It is cheap and probably as robust as putty. Lay down the thinnest coat possible then use an x-acto razor saw blade or broken hacksaw blade to make the columns of the zimmerit. If you make a mistake before it dries it is easy to remove the spackle and redo. Dries hard and can be sanded.

quick way to do zimmerit, I made it for the zimmerit on my elefant. It's the brass gear cog from a Heng Long motor.
