Oh for goodness sake ,you get the Tank just how it should be and then someone, no names HORSE comes up with a reason to strip them all down and install cameras, Just sometimes I feel obliged to go visit my local drinking establishment (PUB).shaun

I use this little camera from HobbyKing: HD Wing Camera 1280x720p 30fps 5MP CMOS
who just want to record with the camera has to erwwarten no big problems. You should only pay attention to a possible suspension in soft ground, otherwise the image too blurry.
If, however, as I work with radio transmission must ensure that these are not in the 2.4 Ghz range works. Since it is always disturbed by our stations with their Rotating frequencies.
I therefore use a transmission in the 5.8 GHz range and that works acceptable on the ground. The range is very much lower than in the air, but sufficiently.
Sorry jarndice but with having some of mine stripped down ready for building and course fitting a camera I had to ask ,but looking forward to getting some of my tanks sorted and just doing some tinkering.all work and no play makes horses grumpy lol

Lots of people have mounted cameras.... check YOUTUBE...I saw one where the guy mounted the cam inside the tank... not sure what models of camera he used but they must have been pretty small... he mounted one in the driver's view .. and one in the gunner's view...it was really cool... even had a range finder on the gunner's angle
sorry I couldn't locate it again..but if I do I will post it
unfortunatelly, i only have vids with the cams installed outside (v.1) after i put them inside, i've made no vids because all my computers are w7 and the damned capture device refuse to run...
edit: no, not me, i missed the rangefinder part, so i wasn't this one guy

I thought Clark (who make the tk20/22 boards were developing I camera that linked to your iPhone/pad where you could also control the tank as well as see what it sees
