No it was not only never produced, it was never even designed, not on paper or anywhere else for that matter. It only ever existed in the mind of a wacky Japanese artist. There are all sorts of technical reasons why the tank could never be built, but it's interesting to see people building fantasy tanks nonetheless.

Hi there Alpha
It looks like from these pics ..that at least one was built ...not really read into it ...or even if the gun as mounted ...but here are 3 pics that give an idea of the size ..

HOLY WOW!

That thing is massive...I can't even Imagine if it were produced ... it would be so heavy..... With that said... if it did come out early in the war ... it could have turned the tide of many a battle...

I know I've been here only a short time...but I've come to enjoy your builds.... they are unusual... basically one of a kind in my book..No matter what anyone says... the main thing is you know who you are and what you can do... that's something no one can take away from you... to me ..I find it amazing what you've accomplished... and seriously think about reconsidering your decision to stop posting your builds... they are enjoyable
If I may repeat what someone said to me when I first showed my tanks... "They are your tanks..don't worry about what others think" I do and I don't... but.. I will not take a snipe personally... If you ask why.... It's because in the long run...you had fun doing what you love to do... and nothing should deter you from any goals you want to achieve
HAPPY HOLIDAYS Mcevoyi

Hi all
Well its been quite some time since i have done any real modeling ..so i've sat down for a good few night and bashed away with drawings pics and plastic card to have a good crack at the turret of the E-79 .. one of the bigest problems i have found is now two models are the same even drawings seem to contradict eash other ...so to a point i had to compromise and seek reference from mainly king tigers and panther 's to make sense of what the drawings dont say
..now the turret is as far as i can see supposed to be ..a fairly small in overall height and width ....thats ok if you dont want to be able to fit a recoil or gun up/down motor....so i have slightly compromised and my turret is 4 mm taller than it sould be ?.....butnthen again its a paper jap manga idea ....and a sweet one it is ... trust me the hull is a simple build ...the turret ...i cant find enough swear words to use to explain the complex shapes ...
I got miles to go ..much to create and test fit ...scrap ..and try again ....
Any way ...enjoy the pics ,..i hope they show .what i am up too ....oh and the tin on the turret top is hunbrol paint tin ,..for scale ....
