Mmmmm, how right you are! As I sit writing this I have 2 Sherman's, one Tiger 1 and a M41A3 in their boxes. Unfortunately only one is mine although I've had some amusement checking that the others are serviceable. Interestingly, the M41 controller has sliding 'bits' in the battery compartment that allow the batteries movement to make better connections with their neighbours. I have a dichotomy, do I spray my tank to create the Royal Wilts Yeomanry 9th armoured div tank 'HIGHWORTH', which was a MkIII and live with the errors, or do I create a later interpretation?

Hi teeell & welcome to the forum.
As for your what to do conundrum, it's simple.
As only one of your collection is yours ,
I'm assuming the others will be running around shooting
Each other.
If so , you don't want to miss out
So you'll have to leave it as it is
& buy another to tinker with!
Enjoy!

9th Queens Royal Hussars in Italy:Sherman IV B's (M4A3) - deep joy a Brit 105, now to create and print off the appropriate decals, check on the additional armour and work on making the extra dust guards over the tracks.

My partners father is receiving a Sherman for Christmas. He was associated with them in Egypt 1946 where one was used by his Engineering Field Sqn to assist in the construction of Bailey bridges ( it was used to push the constructed bridge and/or act as a counter balance). So my task in the next week is to add the additional armour and do a full re spray in 'stone' and then add the necessary decals, one of which is the RTC Fist emblem with ROYAL TANK CORPS surrounding it. The original had the skirt over the upper section of running gear but I think we can live without that!

Humpf! I was going to post a photo of the decals for my 9th Queens Royal Lancers '105, wrong mark of Sherman but right calibre gun - I can live with that!! Trouble is I can't, as yet, find how to include a photo - I have done the 'search' thing and looked in the places where I might expect to find the answer but clearly I've missed it. I daresay one of you bright young sparks will assist an aged fighter pilot in this mission? (is this where I twiddle my handle bar moustache and pinch the phrase 'Wot, wot' before pancaking into the briney?)
