So Alpha what Panther kit do you recommend ? For authenticity ?, so looking at the H/L Panthers for play fun as I have 2 now

Luckily Horses45....you can still stick with HENG LONG... as a company who now keeps and eye on improving their products... they did correct the TAIPANTHER awhile ago...



which can be had for about 200 US ... with metal everything.....the other can be modded at your leisure... for if you look hard enough ... you might find a variant that suits your taste..and inspiration...and sometimes all it takes is a turret change

Horses45, what i would do with the pantiger is, contact forgebear ( he is a member on here and you can pm him or contact him through his ebay listings, i think he puts his email address on there), get a heng long tiger upper hull complete and pop that on( straight swap ), you'll probably have to paint the whole tank if you do because i doubt you'll get a colour match, then either keep the old hull for spares or sell it, the internal parts will fit in the tiger. Then in your own time get a panther g,

Forgot to mention, you would need the tiger rear panel as well.

Just a word of advice Horses45....slow down ...didn't you just get the Tomhugill special Tiger?.... and I just saw you looking for a KING TIGER ...sorry about my initial reply... didn't read the part about you having two Panthers... as your pictures were that of a TAIPANTHER. and a WALKER...I also didn't want to mention the TIGER MOD.. because you just bought one

In some ways I do agree with you searching for a KING TIGER...it's different and you don't have one

Good luck with your projects...but really take your time... it isn't fun being bogged down by a lot of tanks in need of mods ..I know .. as I just went through a similar process of events...it's not bad now... I can take a breather... as I have one more T34 to do... and then on to my Chaffee

Cheers Alpha I'm taking your advice as I fancy getting the king tiger then taking my time to get the others up and ready, as I have 2 Tipanthers with metal tracks so thought that if I strip one down and then the other top off and change it for a H/L tiger top that should give me enough to do as the bulldogs just gonna be my play thing, just need some metal tracks for it , just need to start upgrading the inside electrics on them to the 2.4 bits. But thanks for the advice

Hey Horses... It really isn't my place to tell another member what to do... It just seemed like you were about to overload yourself.... and it would be a sad state of affairs to see someone get burned out before finding just how much fun the tanks are ...especially if you are going "historical" as the research for each ... though fun as well...can be just as tedious...and I for one wouldn't want to see you go MIA because you got overwhelmed

I guess that's the one thing good about this board.. if you run up against a wall... there's someone always around that will help you out

Not to mention.. as I suggested to Diesel...you could still do an "in house" upgrade... to one of those Taipanthers.. do it up like this

Cheers for that Alpha , I know exactly what you mean the 2 tiapanthers I have are going into one, as I am going to strip the metal gears and tracks off get a tiger H/L full top for it, and keep the other set of spare metal tracks for spares.the bulldog just needs metal tracks then a few bits,but the only thing I need then is that king tiger or a jagdpanther but still not sure which one yet and I would say that's me about done.

Read you went with the HLKT good choice... not that the JAGDPANTHER is bad (I got one) but that thing is lanky
with it's immobile gun.... it gets pretty awkward in tight places...for a fixed gun... I prefer my STUG

Thanks for putting the PanTiger next to a Bulldog I never realised that the Bulldog was so big ! I was under the impression that it was a really small light tank.. ...I will have to go and look up the Stats for it.
