Having looked at other sellers I can only find one other that matches the price I paid, but unfortunately that did not include postage - another £12.
If I return it to Nitrotek and buy else where I can see myself paying an extra £24 in postage given that I could not get Nitrotek to confirm in an e-mail that they would refund the return costs.
So all thing considered I am going to take it on chin and keep the tank. I just hope after all this faffing around it has not got any faults with it.
I had a good look at it tonight and must admit it does look more robust than the Heng Long 'Bull Dog' I bought my nephew a few years ago. I am probably mistaken but the gear box appears to be metal - unless the cogs are just sprayed with metallic paint.
Forgot to pickup the AA batteries today so will 'fire' it up tomorrow and ping a few BB's around the kitchen.
You are right that very unpainted tank was not there when I made the purchase.TKcommander wrote:However I did notice the last picture on their pop up images is as you received!

so that is what they justify their product with.... Was the image there when you bought it or have they added it since you complained??
Excuse the obvious pun, but I think they are trying cover their tracks!
Thanks for advice
