Well axels have got the schumo head lights for 9euros (!!!!!) So they're on my list. The tow cable holders are going to be a challenge but I think will be a nice edition. After then I just need to do the 2m antenna and it'll be ready for paint.

A little update, I've started work on the tow cable holders. Made the uprights out of styrene, brass sheet for the clasps and I bought the butterfly nuts from welsh dragon, only had the one lot in stock so I'll have to wait to finish them:

Lovely work Tom!

Don't see what your issue is with the rear cable clamps - they look fine.

Interestingly I've just realized that the Taigen turret does away with that arbitrary join around the sides that you get with the HL Tiger...

Tanks! I've been following your recipe ;) I realised I'd made four indentations for the cleaning rods rather than three, so they will be redone. Still the didn't take long!

Tom, we are all following each others' recipes - or making it up as we go along!

Tell me, are those the Taigen hull hatches? They look good and open well - would have saved me a few headaches...

As for the cleaning rod holders I hope you used the easy route (which I didn't) - and spared your thumb!

Hey tanks, yeah they're the Taigen plastic ones. They come with the plastic top, really good detail and include the periscopes.

Actually I have a nice gash in my thumb as a result of removing the moulded tools. I did use your method of drilling holes and cutting in half. Took some trial and error but worked well. The only issue is that with the barrel cleaning rods and the cable it's a tight fit. Using dress making pins to hold everything in place till I get the butterfly screws. The barrel cleaning rods are the plastic HL ones separated and reworked.

Nearly there; today I added some track hangers which I pillaged from a Taigen metal turret. Also Ive scratched up the retaining mechanism for the jack block and added the bar which holds the spare tracks on the front.
