And again a whole bunch of small parts.



The right heap is for hooks, again.



The left one is for mounting the towing cable.



The one in the middle is the mounting for the towing hook.



Next heap are the parts for the two gear covers.







Part two.





Here there has to be done some grinding.

Now we add the track tensioner.





Here we have the gear base plate and the ordinary HL-metal gears.







Christian sent me the missing and changed items, so I can continue.

First, again, another heap of parts.



Added the missing front component.



Then I added the inner frame.



The next parts are part of the track covers.













Let´s finish the front part. Here some reconstruction has to be done. But for now a L-profile will do.





Now the rear base plates.





The next heap is to create the contact area fort he hooked Rocket pod and the rear storage box with the rear lights. The lights are not finished, yet.

The rear lights are finished. In this case, because they are blanks, they are not that detailed.



Now let´s add the missing details to the rear storage box.





Let´s complete the front, now.











Because this on is only the prototype, the gear boxes didn´t fit as they should do. After adaption they fit perfectly.



I also changed the back-up rolls.

First I wanted to create new ones.

But, because of the similar shape and size of the PIII ones, I decided to use the PIII ones. Therefore I had to change the fittings.

Here you can see the new ones. ( The back-up rolls follow later on.)





To continue, we need two of these:



Why two of them? You´ll see.

First we have to remove all wheels. Those we don´t need anymore. Only the screws will be needed.



Then we remove all suspension arms.



Now a short explanation.

The PIII is the only model that has suspension springs and shock absorbers. For the MLRS we need both.

We need 6 suspension arms including shock absorbers (3 on the left and 3 on the right side).

You´ll find only 4 on each PIII. So this is the first reason to use two of them.

We also need 6 normal suspension arms. (3 on the left and 3 on the right side)

Because we remove the springs from the shock absorbers we need the normal suspension springs as replacements. That means 12 at all.

Every PIII only has 8 of them. So this is the second reason for two of them.

The third reason results of the fact that we need 8 back-up rolls. One PIII only has 6 of them.

So first we need to disassemble the shock absorbers, remove the springs, reassemble them and glue the upper fitting with the sleeve.



Then fit them to the chassis.

The shock absorbers follow later. First I have to reconstruct the fittings. (It´s the prototype)

Well, after time has passed by and a few parts had to be redone I can continue.

First a picture with the completed shock absorbers after correction.



Then a new bunch of parts:



Those are the first parts of the motor compartment.



After adding the next ones the motor compartment is finished.

Finally the right side is finished, too.

Air intake rips are not as small as they are in real, but I couldn´t make them smaller.

The exhaust is also added.





Engine compartment cover part I:





Here some frames had to be renewed.

Now everything fits perfectly.

Engine compartment cover part II:

The hatch already got its grid.

The hatch above right isn´t glued jet. Two parts of the hinge are missing.

Will be added soon.



The fuel tank hatch is also mounted.



The only thing that is missing is the fan cover.

That one I have to reconstruct.

Will be added as soon as I get the new parts.

Well, now I can start with the cabin.

Now let`s start with the drivers cabin.

First, again, a whole bunch of parts.



After building the basic frame, the first plates have been glued.





Lets mount it for testing.

Next we will prepare the side plates with the inner door frames.



And after glueing.



Then we glue the side plates to the cabin.





Now we need to build a few hinges. Four pieces.

Here you can see the single parts on the left and the assembled one on the right.

To see the original size I added a ruler.



And mounted to the side plate.



At least I added the roof and a door. Just to see how it fits.



The doors will be completed, next.

The hinches are complete, now.

The completed doors will be installed after the drivers cabin has been finished.

Now we will complete the doors with the windows.

Herewith we will complete both sides of the cabin.

The doors and the windows stay functional. So they can be opened.

The mirrors are also adjustable.

Let´s continue with the Engine compartment.

I added the missing parts.

Fuel tank cover:



Airfan cover.



Now let´s build the windows.



Position check closed.

Added missing hinge parts.



The frames can be build in two versions. Opened or closed.



I decided to use the opened ones.






Here you can see the hinges of the driver´s window.



And the window.



While the glue is drying, we continue with the canopy.



Now we almost complete the cabin.

First the windows.



And then the rest.





The headlights are still missing.

They will be added as soon as they are finished.

Next we prepare the lower launcher frame.



After I positioned the electronics, the cabins inside looks like this.

The main switch can be reached through the open drivers door.



Then I prepared the launchers rotation.

The HL components fit almost perfect.



Here you can see the mounted frame.



And with the mounted front cover plate.



Now we fix the antenna.





Here you can see the position of the speaker and the battery

A gearbox cover is in preparation and will be added, soon.
