It's only plastic sheets, lol, most of the time, even with tank builds I rarely measure anything, just squint a bit and think, yes, that's about right... and cut.

The ventilation louvres are doing my head in though, almost finished the second one, and still two more to do, if I don't hang myself first....

After much faffing about with the superstructure, filling gaps, sanding etc, I finally got a coat of primer on, and then gave it a coat of dark grey. The mottled effect is due to it only being one coat, but this isn't a problem as I will be giving it either a light grey two tone camo job, or maybe green, depending on what mood I am in. lol

The loading deck is left unsprayed/a mess as this will need a textured surface. I can't actually drive a tank up the ramp at the moment as the tracks simply slip on the styrene.

I got a bit more done today, sorted out the paint, and created a textured load deck using pva and model railway grit. Need to let this lot all dry totally, and then I can start the most daunting part of this little project, which is making the skirt. If I mess that up this hovercraft is toast!

Its just about 3 kilo's now. But that is without two batteries. It is as heavy as it will get, as the skirt is lightweight ripstop nylon and doesn't weigh anything at all.

It was lifting my 'quite heavy' Tiger so it should lift any of my other tanks without problems.

Hey Wibbly.......

You cant just call it a RC 1/16th Hovercraft... its a craft so it has to have a name... ?

So let me throw in a suggestion.... a Military "WobblyHover" .... any other takers ? lol :)
