Paulie if you test the rotation motor with a battery bypassing the rx18 does it rotate..if it does its the connections..if not it could be the motor connections toching the can or dry solder joint....presumably though it worked with the old control

what I do do for peace of mind is use a working tank to test a part.. You say youve atiger working so plug the socket into the tigers board and then youll know where the problem lies

Hi Guys,

it turned out that the (new!) RX18 was faulty :wtf: : substituted another one and the turret now traverses :D
Now working on installing the HL gearboxes; we've made hybrid drive sprockets, combining half a HL Tiger sprocket with the HE drive sprocket, thus allowing us to mate the HE part to the HL gearbox output shaft. If it works, we'll post a picture if anyone is interested? :thumbup:
