I've heard of quality problems with the Heng Long series, and the Forces of Valor series are slightly cheaper as the Heng Long tanks.
Other than that, the vendors in my country only sell BB models, which I don't think are as entertaining.
Being able to drive indoors would be quite cool, too.

There has been more than a few of QA issue with HL tanks. They are cheaply made and you definitely have to be handy and ready to dive in as there really isn't any kind of Manufacturer support or warranty. If it is bad enough you might be able to go back to your supplier. I started of with BB but very quickly only buy IR and then went back and converted all mine to IR as well. You get a more realistic tank and when you choose to upgrade the electronics you have all kinds of after market options.

If you are just looking at being able ot battle and not worry about fixing it up or upgrading it, Force of Valor or Vs is probably you best bet, provided thatyou are okay with the smaller scales.

What country are you in ? If you end up getting into the larger scale (i.e. HL/Taigen) you will find that you would be lucky to have a supplier that will provide everything you need. I am used to stuff flying all around the world to get to me.....China/HK, Aussie, USA, UK, Germany, Poland and my own just about the entire world.

I'm from the Netherlands.
I heard the hobby is pretty large in Germany, so I'd have to go there if I need anything.
