I would kill for a Comet. Profiline already has JadgPanzer IV/L70 so I am switching my 3rd choice to the Comet ! I see a real pull towards British armour. Just remember this forum ends in ".uk". :)

dane61, Profiline also has a T34/76 1943 conversion kit, but it is bloody hell expensive. Might be cheaper to get the Trumpeter kit.

I would also like to see some completly new vehicles released, (especially British), but the original title of this thread got me to thinking about accessories/parts. I would like to see are some accessories that would make it easier to convert a company's stock model to another type. Let me use Shermans as an example. To make a Pacific M4A2, it would be easier with a new engine deck (and some extra filler caps as well) that you could use to replace the engine deck on a Mato, or Heng Long, or Forces of Valor, or Tamiya upper hull. To make a Firefly, I would want to see an engine deck for an M4A4/Sherman V, and also some of the unique parts for it, such as the MG plug, loader's hatch, correct mantlet, fire extinguishers and maybe even the radio extension. For a very early Sherman or Grant/Lee, I would be tempted to start a conversion if I had the option of obtaining early bogie units to begin with. And, an M10 Achilles would need kits for the turret, and also a new upper hull (which could also be used for the M36 Jackson). I would also like to see a metal drive sprocket to fit VVSS track that has a solid face, instead of the open web that all manufacturers like to make. Also a metal VVSS idler wheel, (not the Mato one with 8 spokes), that has bearings and a solid mount.

I know that there are a lot of partial kits that give me a headstart; like the early Sherman turrets from Profiline and Nick Aguilar, (as well as his Jackson turret), and the three-piece transmission housing from Tanktoko. That's great, and I hope to see more of them; but I would also like to see specific conversion packages that included all the parts needed to get you from a stock M4A1 or M4A3 to something else. -Mike

Eastern Front, If you mean both the Tractor as well as the Artillery piece then you are preaching to the converted, I remember years ago I built a small scale Long Tom rig ( I think it was by Revell ) it was a static model but I drool over building an R/C 1/16 version, bring it on . shaun
