With the kv-1 mfu you have to set the trim to the full down position and then blip the throttle in full reverse for it to start, I think this is the same as the Pershing.

Hi Tom,
A few e-mails then returned for refund/replacement, I opted for replacement and have had no trouble with it.
Its a couple of years or so back now, but I think we came to some agreement about the return postage, but the way I looked at it, even with paying the postage it was still way cheaper than buying one in UK.
