Fantastic job, love the paint job and zimmerit on turret.
What did you use for turret zimmerit and what technique did you use if dont mind telling.
Also good link to post with plenty of pics of 501st tanks, is in german but hope it helps.

@ all
He guys, thanks for your nice comments!
@ superguybrett
of course I'll let you know which method I've used for turret and front and back panel zimmerit. It's the same material which I've used for my welds, the name is Apoxie Sculpt.
The idea is not from me, I've found a tutorial a few month ago on this side:
http://www.ampscv.org/tutorials.html - and good for you, the side is in english.
To bring the zimmerit paste in form I've used a little screwdriver, for the welds I took a syringe needle, sometimes also a scalpel. With these tools it is a hard work and it takes a long time, but with the result I was satisfied.
In a few model shops you can buy some stencils and stamps for that work or you build your own tool. Maybe a small pinion in a holder could be helpful.

Really nice looking KT. I like the second shot the best. Looks like it could be real. Try posting a black and white version of that shot.

Hello Guys,
many thanks for your praise.
In the next days I will send a little update report, because I've made a few important modifications.

I’ve promised an update and here it is.
Two things I’ve been changed.
At first I’ll fit a mistake from Torro at the armor for the mufflers. The plane areas aren’t present at the original; the armor is behind rather more pointed.
For that I had dismantle the armor parts from the back wall and grinded them till the look is correct. After this the armor parts became a layer of Mr. Surfacer 500, so I’ve got a fine cast structure. At last then already coloring and weathering and subsequently mounted to the back wall – ready. Pictures…
The second problem is the bad rotating of the turret. He is also from metal and has a high weight. Thereby he rotates very difficult and is jerky. Not a pretty sight.
The only tank with ball-bearing slewing ring is the Leo 2A6 by Tamiya, this slewing ring fits also to the KT, I've installed him complete with drive.
There are of course some customization work needed, but the super slightly rotating of the tower afterwards justifies this effort.
A little video will follow...
