Glad its all working out. It runs much nicer with the HL electronics. You might also want to think about upgrade to metal gear set and also 400 motors.

The flash LED should be connected to the first 2 pins on CN5 I believe. Is that right, Ian ? The POS and the Strobe trigger.

The HL flash (well in IR versions) is wired LED positive to the pin 5 (HBU 4.5v) of CN2 and the negative to one of the trigger wires in CN3 (think pin 4, recoil trigger).
