I bought like 40-50 of them ( all he had of that size) . I used them for the mud guards on my KT+ on the PE grills , but thought I'd better get some extra just in case . I think I gave like 10£ for the bag.
I'll have it mind to se what he has on the next visit . Can't be that hard to ship a small bag over seas to ya...

I have used micro fasteners before. Good range of sizes. If looking for Uk supplier try EKP Suppliessizes go right down to 14 ba. Nuts are a better scale size than the micro fasteners. Micro fasteners do small scale nuts but expensive.

Re: german barrel cleaning rods
If someone wanted to pick up a mix of small bolts for 1/16 scale tanks for detail work what would you recommend. Personally find bolts sizes in metric and standard sizes confusing along with thier numbering system. Any help would be helpful. Thanks brian

it is like it is, it exists different threads and you must know, which is the best for your kind of model construction. If you want to work often with your favorite thread type, then you also need the matching drills, screw taps, Threaders and wrenches. It will be quick a significant financial investment.
Here in germany is the metric thread type the standard. We have lots of shops who have the sizes of thread type what is interesting for us. M1 is the smallest standard thread type, but I can also buy nuts and bolts in M 0,6 and M 0,8.
Search the internet for good dealers and make your choice. Wikipedia is also helpful, for the metric standard i found the german site better, look here: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metrisches_Gewinde.

Very helpful. However had to translate to English. Wish I could read and speak German. One thing. If using bolt heads for outside 1/16 detail work, what head sizes would match real size bolts on life size tanks. Thanks again. Brian
