Re: Tamiya Thinner Options?
I went to two local shops, both carry the Tamiya line. Neither had anything but the X20. I found a bottle of the Mr. Color laquer thinner in my paint drawer I had forgot about. Will this work in the absence of Tamiya Laquer thinner? ( I keep reminding myself why I don't like acrylics)

A Commander has to make vital decision on incomplete information in a matter of seconds, and afterwards the experts can sit down at leisure, with all the facts before them, and argue about what he might, could or should have done.- Sir William Slim

Re: Tamiya Thinner Options?
The Tamiya synthetic lacquer is a European market item according to the local distributor. That explains why I've never seen it stateside. Thank you again for the suggestions and feedback.I just can't chance multiple paint jobs, it would destroy the detail. Enamel it is!

I use own brand supermarket Vodka, 35cl bottle costs less than 250ml tamiya thinners and it has one drawback, it has a water content that slows down drying but not by much. shaun
