Sounds like a lot of work there which is much appreciated. Cant wait for the Achilles and the Firefly.

God, my wife will hate you.  ;) I on the other hand think you're a very very very nice man.

I know what a dilema!  I'm going to have to build new shelves in the garage to park them all!

I think if my bank manger read that list he'd be heading downtown to take out a contract on you, Swath!  ;D ;D ;D

Its a good job all the house prices are in free fall around here, I might need 2 just to hold my collection by the time you guys are through with me...

I goofed earlier, This is going to be Mato Toys tank by Murphy.  Without him this wouldn't have happened.

To add to the earlier post, this tank will have all new electronics, the board, receiver and radio.  Sounds are much improved too!

You'll love the wheels, they have raised lettering and the rubber is real!  The tracks are also plastic and metal, like the real thing!

How do the electronics compare with HL's? Will we be able to hook up David's system? Or will Mato have their own Tamiya compatable system?
(or is David involved in this conspiricy too?  :o ;D - just kidding...)

The prototype in the pics we've seen looks great - I just hope that they can sell enough of them in the current economic climate that all of your hard work on the many varients gets a chance to see the light of day over the next couple of years  :-\

Even if it doesn't work out the way we hope, you've done a great job of getting somebody to listen to the communities demands for a Sherman! Now we need to buy enough to keep the factory listening to you - Lets get this damned recession over with and go shopping guys!

Thanks!  :)
Mart

WOW!!! Nice bit of work Swathdiver!!!

I saw the photo release on the Mato Home Site a while back and was very impressed. As a Canadian, the first thing I thought of was what fun to mod one into a Grizzly and even more fun to replicate the Firefly based on the Grizzly, on display at Camp Borden!  Is there a known release date yet?

One last, slightly related question...is good old Murphy connected to the new MatoMart Site? He is DEFINITELY great to work with!!!

Regards,

David
