With a few ideas borrowed from Jeff1101 I added detail to the cleaning rod and tools racks. The cable was made by twisting copper wire with a hand drill.

I decided to add some battle damage to the upper hull so I attacked it with my dremel but especially at the rear. You can buy the brackets for the exhaust but I thought I would have ago making my own out of bits of plastic rod and plastic strip I had knocking around. The rear bin lids were bought and made from resin.

Now for the turret. I added a connectors to make it easier to remove the turret from the upper hull. I didn't use the plastic handles,etc that came with the tank, instead I made them by bending copper wire and gluing into place. I also used transparent plastic I got from some packaging and cut it to size for the glass in the commanders cupola.

All done for now.

For the painting first sprayed it with Vallejo red primer then black for the pre-shading. After that the base colour and camo. I haven't used decals, instead I decided to paint them on using stencils. Not bad for a first attempt I think.
