Heng long Tiger 1 hull led machine gun

Hi there I'm new to tanks but I want to fit an led machine gun to the hull of my tiger with the mantle gun that's already fitted, I have the rx18 MFU do I need to add a resistor to the led and if so what size, thanks for any advice.

hi alfiecat i fitted a machinegun into the turret of my tiger as it only had the hull one , its a simple job just to solder the wires to the l.e.d machinegun allready fitted .tanker242.

Thanks guys just waiting for the gun to arrive and then decide how to mount it , fixed or movable, this tanking lark does keep you busy.

Alfiecat, if you have a daughter she will almost certainly have a necklace made up of plastic beads, pinch one with the promise of a cream cake and you will find it will do the job perfectly, somewhere on the Heng Long site on the forum there is a Tiger 1 build it describes the whole process apart from pinching childrens toys that is. the site is titled Building a mid production Tiger 1 by Tanks For The Memory. shaun

As I say there the actual ball should be smaller - but that's hard to spot once fitted.

No daughter jarndice so I'm off to buy myself a necklace never done that before lol and thankyou tanks for the memory for the link, nice work and it helps to see how you did it if I get hold of a spare upper hull I may Have a go at some of the mods you have done wether I can get close to your standards I can't tell but it should keep me busy thanks again.
