Hi Christoph,
If loosening the track tensioner doesn't quite give you enough track to 'peel it off'...then you can always remove the mounting screw from the front sprocket. Gently pull the sprocket and the track out away from the hull and once the sprocket is free from its drive shaft you can roll it down the track backwards and then lift it out of the track loop...then the whole track just lifts off in one piece.
