M8A1 Cargo Tractor

Post by Tankbear »

Been slowly putting this together over last couple of weeks.

So this is the M8A1 Cargo Tractor

So since I had a spare bulldog chassis I thought I use that, I know it has 1 less road wheels than the proper thing but hey we ignore that ;)

So here's some pictures of the build as it's coming along.

Still the bull dozer front to make, and some other details to add.

Cheers Dave.

This is my first kind of scratch build, so breaking myself into builds gently. Got a KV-85 next hence the bits extra bits I bought from you.

Yeah I know the deadly enemy of time to do stuff. I've the KV85 next, then SU100, then onto a T72 and a IS-3. The last two requiring a lot of new parts to be made.

Plus rushing a bit on this knowing my leopard is coming.

I like that, a lot, the Bulldog lowers are great as they make very dependable lower hulls. :clap:

Been a quiet week on this project :{

So started making some headlights, from 3mm flat face LED, plastic tube and milliput

Still to file to finish shape and paint.

Then onto the bulldozer bit, started with the arms

And that's as far as I got.
