No idea

Just going by the concept drawings ...after all its a paper panzer !

But i did mark out in pencil trans covers almost the same as a standard
Panzer iv ...

I would have to make them hatches smaller ...or possibly round ...seen something some where that show's them round !

mustclime wrote:Please do not take this the wrong way( never a good way to start something)......how would they pull the trans if it blew?...this is why panthers and king tigers had that seperat plate that held the hull hatches. Without that, you have to pull the turret like the tiger 1( that why there are so many shots of tigers with there turrets off)

Thinking about what you said over night ..

How would they change a transmission final drive ass on a jagdpanther ..tiger 1 and hetzer.....well the answer is simple.....you would remove the drive sprocket nd final drive outer cover which would give full to the transmission

Hi all

And thanks for the comments so far ....been a bit busy as beginning to detail
The hull ...and looking at various pz4 and L70's ...for placement of tools and other small detail ....still thinking about side skirts ...i have an idea but will play with plastic card first before doing pics ...

I changed the height of the sprockets moved the up 3 mm and forward about 1.5 mm ...and started to add the missing bolt heads on the lower chassis hull sides ..its amazing how much detail is missing there ! ....

Any way pics ...time

hi mcevoyi ,

towards the end of the war, people have started to build in so-called Thoma Aprons around the tub were no longer consisted of sheets but braids. So you saved material and weight for the same effect. The tower is normally remained aprons sheet.

You build here a very interesting model and Thoma these aprons would fit very well to this technical standard paper-tank.

Think the shape and make up of your Schurzen is nicely balanced with the rest of your angles on your hull .
Yesterday is our history, Tomorrow is an eternal mistery, Today is a gift, its why its called "The Present".
