Stalemate in regard of posting pictures.

Post by centmk4 »

Sorry to appear rather dense on this subject, but I have read the FAQ's but I'm still unclear regarding if:

I am allowed to post pictures yet?. Or do I need to get the approval as mentioned in the FAQ's? I did attempt to post a picture of the mods to the Bulldog, and the picture did appear albeit just thumbnail sized. :(

I have used Microsoft Digital Image Suite for posting pictures for some time now, but scaling down to the required file attachment size meant when the picture did appear in the post it was rather miniscule in appearance? :haha:

Thanks for reading and any assistance in this respect would be greatly appreciated. Much obliged,RTR5Vet. :)

I think it is 350kb. If you try to save bigger than that it will tell you what the max is. Paint is the best as Eastern said. That's what I use all the time.

Thanks all the same Doc L, but Photobucket requires a lotta' personal info, so I'll hold fire for now.

Let alone my difficulty in posting pictures, I still have to work out 'how to' PM? :haha:

I posted some picture before and I'm sure the max size it would accept was 800 x 600 pixels to post directly on this sites servers.

I did mine by size. 6 inches wide at 96 dpi if that helps at all. I think Jonger is right if you go by pixels 800 x 600 max.
Once you upload you can preview to see size and if it is still too small edit! Pretty easy once you do one or 2...
