Hi Guys,
I am going up to visit a relative in Normandy next week and that will give me the chance to visit "La Cambe German Cemetery "and so to pay my respects to Michael Wittmann and his crew again.
I will take photos of the whole cemetery to try and give an overview of the place and of the grave of Wittmann and his crew in Tiger number 007.
.
If anyone would like any specific photos or,if anyone has a relative or just an interest in any of the other German soldiers buried in the cemetery, please just ask and I will add them to the post.
.
La Cambe has in excess of 21,000 German soldiers buried there all of whom fell during the Normandy Campaign.

a friend of mine took this.
we fight not for glory, nor riches, nor honours, but for freedom, which no honest man gives up but with his life.
