After the smoke pump problem, we now have a top track guide/ roller/ problem
One has real tight spot, and does not rotate freely on it's spindle.
Any ideas with regard to removing the pesky thing guys, so that I can try to free it off? Thanks.:

I realise now that getting the metal upgraded Bulldog was perhaps not such a bright idea, but what's done is now done, so we have to accept that and just move on. 
However we have managed to sort the top track guide rollers, and the smoke unit does work reasonably well, albeit as most here have noted it's a noisy blighter!
The Taigen Tiger 1 seems a fairly decent piece of kit for the asking price and all systems on this model work OK, so far.
Great forum with loads of guys offering experienced advice which is really useful to a Newbie.

I have no idea how to remove the top return roller.....BUT...If the roller is tight on its axle it may simply benefit from being spun on its axle a few hundred times.....
So can I suggest that you either try and fit the roller 'Inside' the chuck jaws of a battery operated drill and spin it for a few seconds....OR ( perhaps less likely to damage anything) .....put a stick or a metal rod in the battery operated drill and wrap a few turns of insulating tape around it. Press it gently against the outside edge of the 'sticky' return roller and let friction spin it for you . Try it for short burst so that the wheel does not get too HOT....THAT will free it off....Then perhaps add a drop of light oil and it should be problem solved.

Thank you Dietrich, that's more or less what cured the problem, but it did mean pulling hard on the rollers that were seized and extracting the interference fit splined shafts as well.
Followed by:... holding the wheels firmly it was as you suggested, using the micro drill chuck to rotate the same until the rollers freed off.
Then a spot of silicone lubricant, and the rollers are now free and lubricated.
I reckon it may have been the ingress of fresh paint that possibly caused the problem as this Bulldog was an upgraded rebuild?
