T-72b on 401b railway platform - 1:25 paper models

Post by vanhasen »

hi,
Id'liko to show you a set of two models I finished some time ago. It is a primitive 1:25 diorama buid with two paper kits - FlyModel t-72 and Answer railway platform. All details (except decals and stones :/ )are hand-made, entire models are painted.
Enjoy :)

Building a paper model is a difficult task and it's very difficult to show the entire process in one post... building this t-72 took me almost five months :) If you like the idea of paper modelling try reading forums like http://www.papermodelers.com/
Maybe I'll start with a few more photos - focused on tank. Meanwhile I'll try to find interesting shots of my "work in progress".

Below a series of photos showing the construction of this T-72. Unfortunately I do not have any photos where paper hull is visible. This stage is so boring that I do not take any photos.

Very impressive build and with a material I am shocked about, making paper aeroplanes now seems so insignificant.
