Anyone know off hand whether HL metal tracks fit the Tamiya?
What, me worry?

Hi there,

Yes they do, I have them on my tiger also. If you are intending to work it hard I would invest in some sort of brace for the hull and gearboxes.

Cheers,

Thanks guys.

I'm trying to squeeze the most out of the Pantiger I ordered. If the metal tracks can go I'm my Tamiya Initial, I'll be very happy. That'll be nearly worth the $100 right there, then the guttywuts go in the Trump and maybe I'll turn the inaccurate Panther into a burned out hulk for the battlefield...

I picked up a set for my KT, they didn't work,,,though they were very close.. thought it would be the same for the Tiger.. Go figure?

Cheers!
Funny that? I did the very same thing with my KT, and they didn't fit, I got some torro sprockets and modded them to make them fit.
The only down side to metal tracks is that the tam tensioner won't handle them very well, so i fitted the Daryl turner spring affair and no probs so far
