This morning I worked on the smoke generator mods, tested it, then buttoned it back up. The elevation was dead when it was fine a few minutes before. I opened it back up and looked for a crimped/bad wire, etc. I took apart the elevation unit, the motor functions fine on the bench. All the wires work fine, I have clear continuity from the MF unit to the motor. I opened the Tx and it's in order as well.
I guess that leaves the Multi-function, since there's nothing else in the chain. Can it crap out that quickly? There's no obvious damage, it can't be over heating since the thing wasn't run for more than a minute or two at a time, maybe 10 minutes total since opening the box.
I guess I spoke to soon, singing the praises. I emailed the retailer, but I doubt they'll do anything except ask for a return, which I already have a few hours of work into this one.
Any ideas?
