I mean the drive trains, gearcases etc. remain all stock. I never upgrade anything really unless you count the tracks, its kind of an upgrade.. The rest is customization, not upgrades. Heng Longs will need upgrades..

My only experience with owning a Tamiya AFV was years ago with one of the 'early' Remote Controlled Gepards in 1/16th. Even then it was a quality model and a gift or I never could have afforded it. Nowadays, I love my Mato Sherman. Looks great, runs and shoots wonderfully. I haven't had to open it up for anything yet. The Mod Bug may bite me someday in regards to it but right now, some dullcoat and added stowage and I'm perfectly happy.
) I'm waiting to see what the HL Sherman reviews out as.
