I find this forum quite difficult to post pictures on at best, but used to be able to, however, its not working out for me these days.
Glen,What troubles are you having with the picture?

If a sizing issue I use windows Paint, right click on the pic and select open with paint, once open top left hand side of option select re-size,then entire 25 in both drop down size option boxes, save after the resize is complete.

Now the new picture will fit this forum every time.It is a bit of a hassle, but it also allows you to add text,or arrows and many other graphic options to your picture. Excellent tool for pointing out details on photos.

There's no sizing problem because I can't attach a picture of any kind, even when following the instructions that were posted here a while ago.

I used to be able to but I am not able to do so now.

To be honest, I find it frustrating and it does limit my participation here.

You could upload them to somewhere like Photobucket or Imgur and use the IMG BBcode, just as fast as using attachments :)

In addition, as of Dec. 2011, Mato in Canada, where this one came from, is still advertising and selling the HL KT here.

Guys,KT'S look great, question.during disassembly did you discover the muzzle brake and barrel are threaded? I was surprised to find this feature. First time on A 1/16 SCALE ASIAN tank I am aware of.Seems like a added bonus and certainly on the KT I'm painting a pleasent surprise.

The grills and hatched required alot of detailing due to flashing and imperfections but just light filing no real heavy stuff.

Which type of paint did you guys use? Did you use the Rustoleum primer and if so did you leave the underside of the fenders in primer or paint in base color. Which method did you use to apply the other two camo color(green and red-brown) clay, masking, brush or a combination?

My interest is practical,I have tried several methods since my first tank, and the original Painting and weathering section post on this forum, yet their has always seemed to be something not just right in some stages of my paintwork. Sharing your skills would be helpful to me and I'm sure to others.

I've looked for the Porsche version in Hungary do you have a photo perhaps Glen B? The one I have is a Henschel turret version, also has anyone got a pic of a 1st SS LAH Porsche King Tiger on either front?

My other attempt a Henschel King Tiger from Grossdeutschland Division http://www.rctankwarfare.co.uk/forums/v ... 2&start=20" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Also not completed, needs work.

Yes, the muzzle brake is threaded.

Mine is just Tamiya Acrylic on the original finish. I have done seven tanks that way without any problems. The paint is airbrushed on, freehand w/o masking.

All the pictures I have seen of this tank were in winter but I assume it arrived there in mid Oct so I have speculated it was in three colour camo then and white washed later because pictures of other 503 KT's at that time/place were in three colour camo.
