Also people slag off the standard HL charger, but really for me the only practical way of multiple charging of batteries for multiple tanks
If you had a better chager system you wouldn't be stacking up your tanks quite so much as the battery will charge much quicker with a better charger. HL chargers get way too hot..and i meen way too hot, if you want a risk of a fire in your family home over saving a few £££ for an Ic tank well.... The other point you get with a better charger is..you can discharge the battery then charge it. Doing this a few times will remove the memory point they have, and gives the battery a better life when used. Also with a better charger you can set the Amp level to charge your battery at. Also you can see how well it charged by how many milliamps went in.

Hope this helps a little as to why you should be thinking about getting a better charging station.

You be suprised how quickly it builds up. Simply adding metal tracks will add a great deal of weight, then metal gearboxes which are usual upgrades. Then if you go further with metal hull, metal wheels, metal cannon, etc. You get the picture.

As for the charger agree having a simple plug in wall tidy one is better than a smart charger which can be a handful of cables and charger etc. That's why i've one of each ;) Sprint NX84 for less than a tenner, simple wall type with auto delta voltage shut off (good safety feature) with red/green charging/ready LED status. Charges multiply cell numbers (auto detects) at 1A output so standard HL battery in under 2 hours. Plus a smart charger for when I need more options, i.e. discharging, fast charge, when I start using LiPo batteries, etc.

I bought it from EModels online, but doesn't appear to be there now. If you Google NX84 you find a few place although now appear to be called fusion, but looks to be the same.
