Folks, I intend to build my own brushless drive system, and I see reference to the HL tanks being too fast, and the "3:1" reduction units etc.... what is the actual desired gear ratio to get scale speed?

In the download section of this forum their is a gear calculator program that has this information and the list of drive units and their ratio and scale speed data.

Thanks, I'll check it out.. Not looking to "reinvent the wheel", but some of this stuff can definately be done better. Aero-mate has the right approach in my opinion, and I'd like to do something like that. I did enjoy the dual clutch arrangement of my old Tamiya sherman though.
