Panzers in the snow

Post by Johnf »

Had some fresh snow this morning so got the camera out. Luckily had just finished some troops in winter gear.

Very nice shots there - loved the underlying red tone on the tracks.

I have a question about your smaller panzer shown - the paint scheme (and overall weathering etc) - is there a guide for creating it anywhere?

Hi Evil harb. I did a posting on the build in the Heng Long build section. Maybe some help there. I was just messing around with various techniques to see what works. Have a look at my posts on the Panzer 111 build and I would be happy to answer any questions.

Hi again Evil Harb, Just had a look at my posting on the Panzer 111 build in the build section and see that there is lots of info there on the paints and techniques used.

Thanks Ice, Took the tiger out for a run again today but ice keeps building around the idlers and i'm afraid I might burn out the motors or the elmod. Think it's best to do the stills and the end result is much better. Just got those guys in the winter camo finishes as the smow was falling.

Anybody got winter scenes. If you do'nt want to risk driving in the snow try some photography.

Thanks Stevie.
That was day one. Have enough snow to build mountain scenery.
